Forward Fox Valley Tech

Are YOU ready for fall? We are!

Forward Fox Valley Logo

We’re taking a good hard look at what Fox Valley Technical College will look like in the months ahead. And we think you’re going to like what you see!  We’re READY to get you and your educational journey on a path that works best for you. This fall at FVTC, we will be:

Ready with our on-campus offerings

  • Let’s get to class. A full set of programs, classes, labs, and support services will continue – or return – to an in-person and on-campus environment. Hands-on learning will always be our number one priority, even as we continue to take precautions during the pandemic.
  • Face covering policy:
      • Fully vaccinated? You are welcome on campus without wearing a face covering.
      • Not vaccinated yet or partially vaccinated? Please wear a face covering while on campus.

Ready with our virtual and online offerings

  • We’ve seen that this style of learning really clicks for some of you. Not only will we continue to offer online learning and support services, we’re also expanding options so you have the flexibility to learn around your own schedule.

Ready for you to tour campus

  • We know you want to take a look around. We are resuming small group on-campus tours so you can walk around and see our campuses and regional centers for yourself. You’re welcome to join us by signing up on our FVTC visit page.
  • We will also continue to offer a comprehensive list of program informational sessions. You can also find these options on our visit page.

Ready with a great student experience

Our Student Services staff have discovered many new ways to connect and serve our students over the past year but we are now ready to reconnect in person, when and where this can be done safely.

Beginning on June 7th, our Appleton Campus Student Services physical offices will reopen. There will continue to be multiple ways for you to schedule an appointment with us, and scheduling early is recommended. Note that due to COVID health concerns and CDC guidance, on-campus appointment availability will be limited. We can arrange our connection with you through many options:

  • Face-to-face on Microsoft Teams or Collaborate
  • Phone call
  • Email
  • In-person (walk-in or appointment options varying by department beginning June 7, 2021)

As usual, our teams are available 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, and other times by appointment. Support services are also available at our Oshkosh Riverside campus, as well as regional and training centers. Check support hours here: FVTC LocationsReview Access to Student Services below.

We know you need each other. Our clubs and organizations are planning fall activities across our campuses and centers. Our Student Success Center is open, and we’ll connect you with opportunities both on and off campus to enrich your college experience. And, of course, Sly Fox will be hanging around on campus!

So, that’s our plan. We’re READY for you and your educational journey, no matter which path you choose.

Summer & Fall Plan Summary

Fox Valley Technical College's mission is to provide education and training which enhances the skilled workforce of the communities. The college has taken a conservative and flexible approach, as our top priority is the health and safety of students, staff and faculty.

We are not anticipating any changes to the academic calendar. The summer semester is June 7 - August 7, 2021. Fall semester is August 23 – December 18, 2021.

  • Our full set of degrees and services will be offered and include a range of instructional methods including in-person, online and hybrid options. We will always be ready to shift and refresh our plans if needed, to respond to changing circumstances.
  • Faculty and staff are working on campus and from home to support you. We really want to see you in person. If that is not possible, when it is necessary and to keep us all safe, we can arrange our connection with you via a face-to-face online meeting, phone call or email.
  • For those who visit campus, building access to the main campus will be open during regular hours of operation, with some on-campus services, as well as continued remote support. Regional campus and training center locations may have varied hours of operation.
  • For ongoing COVID-19 safety measures, see On-Campus Procedures below.
