Dallmann East River Dairy:
This farm has been featured on the annual Farm Tour in the past and a lot has changed, most prominently the participation of the next generation of family members. The dairy milks 2100 cows, housed in a series of 4 row tunnel ventilated barns. Technology used consists of an anaerobic manure digester, recycled manure biosolids, DG Precision feeding System, and Pedometers.
Haeses Dairy Farm:
This farm features a newly constructed, 8-row tunnel ventilated, 247-stall barn with 4 GEA Monobox Robotic Milking Systems. The first day milking in this facility was November 8, 2016. They milk 200 cows and the freestall barn houses bedding pack pens for dry and fresh cows, and an incorporated calf barn.
Sunny Slope Dairy:
This farm milks 700+ cows through a newly built (February 2016) GEA Double 10 parlor built in place of the old parlor installed in 1998. Attached is a 6 row freestall barn featuring alternative paper and sawdust bedding, alley scrapers, and a unique manure handling system.
