Manufacturing Lab Gets New Name

A gift to the Fox Valley Technical College Foundation for its Promise program results in the renaming of one of the college’s centerpiece learning labs.

Plexus, a global leader in product realization solutions headquartered in Neenah, Wisconsin, contributed $50,000 to the FVTC Foundation’s efforts to make education affordable through the Promise. In appreciation of the gift, FVTC officials renamed one its manufacturing learning labs the Plexus Electro-Mechanical Technology Lab at Fox Valley Technical College.

The spacious lab is located between entrances 4 and 5 in the southeast section of FVTC’s main campus building. It houses the latest innovations to support students in the Automated Manufacturing Systems Technology, Electro-Mechanical Technology, and Electronic Engineering Technology academic programs, in addition to various classes in electronics.
