The student Information Technology (IT) Help Desk on the Appleton campus received a new name thanks to the support of the Bemis Company Foundation.

A recent $50,000 gift from the Bemis Company Foundation to the Fox Valley Technical College Foundation will be used to help make education affordable for lower-income families as part of the Foundation's Promise initiative. In appreciation of the donation, FVTC officials renamed its IT Student Help Desk the Bemis Company Foundation IT Student Help Desk at Fox Valley Technical College. The hands-on learning lab is located inside entrance 13 and is part of the recently-expanded IT Center of Excellence.
