State’s Top Ag Program Again

| By: Britten, Casey

For the second consecutive year, Fox Valley Technical College’s Agriculture department was named the top Ag program in the state by the Wisconsin Association of Agriculture Educators. The honor recognizes the college’s Horticulture and Outdoor Power programs as well.

In 2013, the FVTC Ag Center was renamed, “The Service Motor Company Agriculture Center at Fox Valley Technical College” in recognition of Service Motor Company’s outstanding support over the years through providing equipment and financial contributions toward scholarships. The partnership ensures that FVTC students are prepared to work in a fast-growing industry reliant on skills aligned with changing technologies. This collaboration, along with consistently high job placement rates and other industry partnerships, represents one of several reasons why FVTC is a leading trainer in the field of agriculture.
