In conjunction with the National Ag Day celebration, we are also hosting our FFA Career Development Event. This event, starting at 8 a.m., is a competitive qualifying event where FFA members can demonstrate their knowledge and skills gained from the classroom and FFA activities. This helps FFA members develop the abilities to think critically, communicate clearly, and perform effectively in a competitive job market.

Approximately 800 to 1,000 high school students will be participating. FVTC hosts 13 different competitive areas as a regional qualifier with winners advancing to the state level. State winners advance to nationals.
