Chamber’s Innovation Award goes to FVTC

Jun 17, 2013

Fox Valley Technical College earned the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce & Industry 2013 Innovation Award.

The college was recognized during the Chamber’s annual Business Awards luncheon on June 12 at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel for its efforts in training the region’s workforce through innovative funding opportunities.

As part of the nomination process, FVTC was also recognized for using innovation to further develop its own workforce, helping enhance quality of the life in the region through various partnerships, and for a commitment to improved operations and sustainability.

Other area businesses were honored for their efforts in a number of additional workplace-related categories during the event as well, which drew nearly 500 attendees.
