Student Activities Committee

While college life certainly involves studying, it should also include being involved in activities outside of school, meeting others, and having fun. The Student Activities Club (SAC) is a great way to get involved at FVTC. Membership is open to all credit paying FVTC students.

Meeting Times: Tuesday and Thursday at 11:30 a.m.

SAC offers something for everyone:

  • Speaker Series: bringing in speakers and lectures that stimulate discussion, raise awareness, challenge perceptions and entertain.

  • Entertainment: various musical concerts, comedians and variety acts.

  • Performing Arts: musicians, dance and theatrical ensembles.

  • Movies & Films: classics, family, as well as blockbuster hits. Shown in Spectator's Lounge.

  • Family Events: programs open to the whole gang. From holiday programs with entertainment to Family Movie Nights, with free hot dogs and popcorn.

  • Late Night Programming: BINGO, movies on Wednesday night, among others.

  • Games & Contests: choose from Millionaire Monday, BINGO, Play-Doh, trivia, and casino night.

See nationally known speakers on a variety of inspirational topics. All Speaker Series events are free and open to the public.
