Why did you choose the Supply Chain Management program?

I chose Supply Chain Management as a career because it is a rapidly expanding field, so there is significant job growth, and it is a high paying field.

What are you learning about your career field that you find interesting or rewarding?

There are many topics covered in this career field, but the most interesting ones that really caught my attention are Manufacturing Technologies/Software Developments, Process Engineering, Operations Management, Quality Management, and Quantitative and Qualitative Methods for decision making.

Why did you choose Fox Valley Technical College?

There are many reasons why I chose this great college. From the first day I stepped on the campus, I felt welcomed by the amazingly kind, helpful, and smart staff, professors, and support services tutors (TLC). I found everything I really needed to succeed in life, not only as a college student, but as a productive member of society. Also, the quality of the courses is outstanding. There are numerous programs for every unique student that attends here. The professors are highly knowledgeable on the material that they teach. Class sizes are not too big, with the most I've seen being 30 in one class.

How did Fox Valley Technical College help you change your life?

Fox Valley Tech has helped me in my work and social life. I have had a lot of experience from my previous jobs I worked in Afghanistan and I didn't have any work experience in the United States. Fox Valley Tech provided me with the opportunities I needed to find work and be promoted to the public safety supervisor position at a local mall. I believe that I will get better life advancement after I graduate at the end of December 2017.

What type of job do you expect to find after graduation?

Supply Chain is a rapidly expanding field with many paths and I am confident that I will be able to get a position in my field. Some positions will require further education which I am always ready to do in order to get my dream job. Supply Chain is overall my passion.
