Celebrating Black History Month

Celebrating Black History Month

| By: Britten, Casey

February is dedicated as Black History Month, an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in the history of the United States. We proudly support and celebrate the African American community at Fox Valley Technical College this month and all year long.

To commemorate this occasion, the following learning opportunities are available to FVTC students, staff and the community:

Join us in recognizing and celebrating the contributions of Black/African Americans to the history of the United States. During this time, we recognize and pay homage to the contributors, innovators and trailblazers within the Black community who have elevated the fields of business, technology, art, music and science.
