Why did you choose to study this field?

I wanted to be able to give better care to my patients. I believe that knowledge is the path to efficiency.

Tell us how you came to choose FVTC for your education.

I live in Appleton, so the location was perfect for me. I have young children in day care and others in school around the Kimberly area, so I needed to be able to commute with ease to and from school.

What's been the most rewarding part of your educational journey at FVTC?

The lessons learned, the people I’ve encountered, some of whom have become friends, and completing my program successfully. The clinical experiences were challenging but very beneficial as well. All of these accomplishments have been very rewarding to me.

What was the most difficult part?

The Lockdown. This made everything much more difficult, as I had to then balance home-schooling and my own online classes.

What will you do on graduation day or in the future to celebrate graduation?

I celebrated with my family and took a moment to thank everyone who has walked this journey with me.

Tell us about your plans after graduation.

I’m planning to continue with my education and unlock more doors in my life. The ADN program was the beginning of what will become much more.

One last parting thought or words of wisdom to share with others.

It might take all you have to get where you want to be, always remember that when you get there it will all be worth it. Words can build or destroy, choose your words wisely and have your heart in the right place. My family and friends, I owe you! My instructors, I SALUTE you!!!
