Why did you choose to study this field?
I chose to study this field because I love working with people and helping them better themselves in any way possible that I can. This career feels like one of the best ways to do so.
What’s been the most rewarding part of your educational journey at FVTC?
The most rewarding part about my journey with FVTC is becoming more knowledgeable in the medical areas and getting to know some very special people in my schooling.
What was the most difficult part?
My most difficult part about attending school was transitioning from in-person classes to an all-virtual learning experience due to the pandemic. My particular degree is all hands-on, so the transition took some getting used to.
What will you do on graduation day or in the future to celebrate graduation?
To celebrate my graduation, I am looking forward to spending time with friends and family enjoying my day of starting my new journey as a Medical Assistant.
Tell us about your plans after graduation.
My plans after graduation are to start my new position that I have currently accepted. I also am going on vacation to the Dominican Republic with my fiance and kids to celebrate all the fun Spring Breaks, Summers, and Birthday Parties that we have missed because of the pandemic in the last year and a half.
One last parting thought or words of wisdom to share with others.
I want to send a special "Thank You" to all my amazing instructors and classmates! The last year has definitely been a challenge in more than one way. I appreciate everyone working together as a "team" and keeping each other together to help in areas others may struggle to learn. I have become very close to some of these special people!
