Electricity Program Reaches Milestone

Electricity Program Reaches Milestone

Students from Fox Valley Technical College’s Electricity program joined college officials and board members from Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity to commemorate the wiring of the 100th home for the nonprofit organization and the families it serves.

The west-side Appleton home marked a milestone of projects that span 10 years in partnership between both organizations. Over that time, about 120 FVTC students have worked in both an outdoor and indoor learning lab capacity in which they could apply their skills in preparation for careers in the construction trades.

During the ceremony, program instructors Pat Jensen, Todd Llewellyn, and Greg Koshollek were recognized for their exemplary leadership regarding the projects over the years. The Electricity program is a one-year, three-semester offering at FVTC.
