Description:
All of life is impromptu, yet sometimes, the most difficult questions are the ones we aren't prepared to answer! Using real-world scenarios from your work, you’ll have the opportunity to practice impromptu question and answer techniques, and understand the value in each: restate, reframe and redirect. We’ll explore each method and offer tips you can use to answer questions 'off the cuff,' and even how you can say 'I don’t know,' in a way it helps you maintain credibility. And, we’ll briefly touch on impromptu presentation organization techniques.

Participants will explore strategies to answer impromptu questions, including how to avoid over-answering the question, how to handle negatively phrased questions without validating emotion behind the question, and how to carefully and tactfully redirect when the question asked is better answered by someone else.
