Please join us in congratulating Mike Fassbender for receiving the Wisconsin SkillsUSA Post-Secondary Advisor of the Year Award.

Mike is an instructor in the FVTC Outdoor Power Equipment Technician program and is not only a dedicated advisor to FVTC students, he is also an enthusiastic supporter of SkillsUSA in Wisconsin. He ensures that these career development opportunities for students remain strong and works countless hours to prepare students to compete and represent Fox Valley Technical College.

“Mike is extremely passionate about his field and is an amazing mentor to his students,” says Jennifer McIntosh, associate dean for Manufacturing, Agriculture & Construction Technologies.

The award was presented to Mike in April at the Wisconsin State SkillsUSA competition in Madison.
