Chamber Recognizes Susan May with Service Award

| By: Britten, Casey

FVTC President Dr. Susan May earned a 2019 Pinnacle Award from the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce. Each year, the Chamber’s Pinnacle Awards acknowledge area business leaders for outstanding achievements and pursuit of excellence. Dr. May will receive the Gus A. Zuehlke Distinguished Service Award on November 21 during the Chamber’s annual gala.

New inductees into the Business Hall of Fame are named each year at the event as well, and former FVTC Trustee Sharon Hulce will also receive a Pinnacle award. Other awards are given in categories related to mentorship, leadership (including honoring a young professional leader), and advancing Chamber initiatives.

Dr. May began her career at FVTC in 1983 and has served in various leadership roles before being named college president in 2008. Prior to her service at FVTC, she worked as a teacher and department chair for New Holstein High School.
