Interior Design Skills on Display Wednesday, March 9, 2016 | By: Britten, Casey Interior Design students participated in The Paine Art Center and Gardens' current display, Rooms of Blooms, which runs through March 13 at the historic Oshkosh landmark located at 1410 Algoma Boulevard. The 13 students created a 48-inch round table with four place settings and design styles that capture Victorian, rustic, contemporary, and transitional themes. Each place setting represents a design theme, complemented by a subtle educational concept by way of books as a main prop, in addition to varying styles indicative of interior design—all capped with floral flair. Finishing work on the hardscape element of the table was the last part of the project before the students had a chance to participate in a reception with other artists and designers. Rooms of Blooms celebrates the art of floral design within exquisite settings and features more than 100 artistic creations. The students involved in the project include: Elin Brawley Noah Bryan Kayla Domaszek Taylor Ganzer Robyn Greely Kara Keshemberg Olivia Krohn Hannah Kuehne Paige Parvin Nitia Tesch Natasha Timm Sarena Vosters Sandra Wunderlich Tags: Interior Design Rooms of Blooms Paine Art Center Related articles Interior Design Students Bring Christmas to Life at Hearthstone Upcycling for a Cause Student-Built Home Almost Ready for Residents Designing a New Career House Hunters Highlights Interior Design Grad
