Why did you choose this career program?

I've always had a passion for making technology connect and communicate. Network Administration is great because it gives me the opportunity to ensure that all devices are connected securely at large organizations.

What are you learning about your career field that you find interesting or rewarding?

The most rewarding part of my career is working with other Information Technology professionals. I enjoy helping them with troubleshooting, problem-solving and being able to help them grow in their knowledge and career.

Why did you choose Fox Valley Technical College?

I chose to attend FVTC because of its proximity to my home and its great reputation in the Fox Valley.

How has Fox Valley Technical College helped you change your life?

Fox Valley Technical College gave me the technical knowledge that I needed to get my career started right out of high school.

What type of job do you expect to find after graduation?

I'm currently working as a systems architect with a focus on infrastructure at a medium-sized insurance company based in Wisconsin. After graduation, I want to continue to grow my career with this organization.

In one sentence, what's your best advice for someone who's not sure they're ready for college?

If you believe in yourself, you can change the world. Take that chance, that opportunity, and get everything you want out of it.
