Unpleasant Interview Turns into Career Success Story

An awkward experience helped Mariama Diallo gravitate toward Human Resources

Having graduated from Fox Valley Technical College in May, Mariama Diallo is ready to get to work with an associate degree in Human Resources. While FVTC has given her the tools she needs for a career in HR, she will also bring some life experiences with her that she hopes will never be replicated on her watch as an HR professional.

Mariama points to an unpleasant job interview as one of the biggest factors in her decision to study HR at FVTC. What went so wrong in that interview?  She recently shared her story with Spectrum News 1.
