Anthony Gonzalez was appointed to the Fox Valley Technical College District Board in 2013. Since July 2013, he has been the vice president of community development for United Way Fox Cities. In this role he develops, implements and oversees strategies to achieve the community impact work of the United Way Fox Cities through planning, staff and volunteer development, and establishment of partnerships. He is responsible for the development of community initiatives and distribution of resources, as well as outcomes which hold the United Way accountable for achievement of impact strategies and effective utilization of community resources.
Over the past 15 years Anthony has worked for organizations in a capacity that relied greatly upon volunteer service. Through this involvement and heightened awareness of volunteerism with other non-profit organizations, he has gained enormous appreciation and respect for the role volunteerism plays in our community.
He has a bachelor of science degree from UW-Oshkosh, a double major in social work from a CSWE Accredited Program and Criminal Justice, and was certified as a crisis prevention institute instructor in 1995.
