Dave Richter is the Vice President of Operations & Natural Products and is responsible for both Customer Relations and the Distribution Center for Silver Star Brands.  Silver Star Brands manages six direct to consumer brands: Miles Kimball, Walter Drake, Easy Comforts, Dream Products, and Native Remedies.  Dave has over 20 years of experience in sales and customer service managing multiple global brands in the consumer goods industry. Before joining Silver Star Brands in 2015, Dave was most recently the Vice President of Consumer Packaged Goods at Alta Resources; a global outsourcing company located in Neenah, WI.

Dave received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh and is a Juran Institute Certified Six Sigma Green Belt.  He is also a 2017 graduate of Leadership Oshkosh.

Outside of the corporate arena, Dave is also an accomplished musician/vocalist who has performed hundreds of shows across the Midwest with local bands Boogie and the Yo-Yoz and RPM. Additionally, he is a small business entrepreneur who is currently the co-owner of Greene’s Pour House in Neenah and Oshkosh and Wilder’s Bistro in Appleton.

Dave grew up in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and he currently lives in Oshkosh.  Dave’s daughter is attending UW-Oshkosh.

Dave believes that the strength of any community comes from the engagement of community members of all ages and ensuring that the skills young people are developing match current employer needs.  In addition, to serving on the FVTC Foundation Board, Dave serves on the Big Brothers Big Sisters Board for the Fox Valley Chapter.  Dave has led the United Way Fox Cities fund raising campaign at Alta Resources and Silver Star Brands and is currently serving on the Oshkosh United Way Leadership Council.
