Mike Slowinski joined the District Board in 2023. He is the Superintendent of Schools for the Kaukauna Area School District, a position he has held since July of 2022. His education experience spans 15 years as a high school English teacher, a Library Media and Technology Coordinator, Associate Principal, High School Principal, Superintendent, coach, and advisor.
Slowinski's community involvement includes membership and leadership roles on the Heart of the Valley YMCA Board of Directors, 5-Stones Board of Directors, and membership on the Leadership Fox Cities Steering Committee through the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce.
His post-secondary education includes a Bachelor's degree from UW-Eau Claire, a Master's degree from UW-Stevens Point, and Superintendent licensure from UW-Milwaukee.
Slowinski and his wife, Emma, have two children, Abraham and Henry. They currently live in Kaukauna.
