E-seed Entrepreneurship Training is built to move your idea forward - fast. This is your launchpad. You’ll pressure-test your concept, sharpen your vision, and build a clear, executable plan to turn ambition into action. From day one, you’ll be doing the real work of building a business—with guidance, structure, and momentum every step of the way. In just ten weeks, you’ll walk away with a plan you can confidently execute.

Organized by the FVTC Business division with support from American National Bank and the Fox Valley Technical College Foundation, current students from all program areas had the opportunity to pitch their unique business ideas to a panel of judges for the chance to earn cash prizes.

Twenty years ago, Joey Reader was organizing employee appreciation events from inside a corporate HR office. Today, she is the president and founder of A-mazing Events, a full-service event management company in Kimberly, WI, specializing in corporate and nonprofit gatherings.

With a renewed focus on entrepreneurial development, the college has announced Doug Schacht, department chair of Entrepreneurship Studies & Venture Center, will serve as the center’s new leader, replacing director Amy Pietsch who retired from the college in late 2024.

The Business of Worms

Connor Freimuth of Chilton is proof you cannot always predict where your career is headed. Connor never expected to one day be a worm farmer. But here he is.  “I just knew I was passionate about working with worms and cultivating beneficial soils,” Connor explains.
