The Wautoma Regional Center offers a variety of services and courses designed to meet your continuing education needs. One area of focus in Wautoma is regional training for Emergency Medical Service providers. Training options include CPR, First Aid and First Responder, EMT, Paramedic and more.

Facility Resources

Fox Valley Technical College's Wautoma Regional Center offers a variety of services for students and the community. The facility includes: 

  • Computer lab with workstations, LCD projector, laser printer, Internet access, and computer courses; professional instructors available to help in an open-lab environment.

  • Math lab offering a variety of math courses; professional instructors available to help in an open-lab environment

  • Adult Basic Education (ABE) classroom

  • Job Center Service Site with on-site agency personnel and Resource

  • Distance learning IP classroom for receiving courses remotely

  • Testing center

  • Meeting space available

Adult Basic Education (ABE)

Adult Basic Education (ABE) prepares students to complete their high school credential. Build reading, writing, math, science, social science and study skills. 

All ABE classes are available at the Wautoma Regional Center.

Computer Training

The Business Technology Center Staff at the Wautoma Regional Center welcomes you! All currently registered FVTC students are welcome to use the technology center facilities for program-related activities.

Self-Directed/Open Lab Classes

Self-directed classes provide students with a practical, hands-on approach to developing skills. The emphasis is placed on learning by doing. These self-paced, open entry/open exit courses are presented in a tutorial format designed to be used in a lab setting. The students schedules regular hours that are convenient. Instructors are available to provide assistance and to administer tests and timings during scheduled hours.

Computer Lab Courses

  • All open lab courses are self-paced

  • Students must schedule an orientation to the computer lab prior to beginning a course

  • Instructors are present in the lab for specific blocks of time
