Visit FVTC Aviation at AirVenture 2023

| By: Britten, Casey

As the aviation world descends upon Oshkosh, Wisconsin once again for EAA AirVenture, members of the Fox Valley Technical College Aviation team are proud to be part of the action. The event, celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, runs from July 24-30, 2023.

Visit FVTC Aviation staff in the Education & Career Center, booth E15. You can learn more about our Oshkosh-based aviation training programs, including Aeronautics-Pilot Training, Aeronautics-Professional Pilot, Aircraft Electronics and Airframe & Powerplant Mechanics. In addition, on Wednesday, July 26, the Fox Valley Technical College booth will be the host site of the Aviation Technician Education Counsel (ATEC) Regional Outreach meeting, which will also include networking and viewing of the night show.

Attendees can find FVTC Aviation information at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Aeronautics booth, in addition to other Wisconsin aviation employers and educators. UW-Oshkosh will also be available at the event to talk about four-year degree options in Aviation Management.

EAA AirVenture takes place at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh. For one week each summer, more than 500,000 Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) members and aviation enthusiasts from over 80 countries attend EAA AirVenture, making Wittman Regional Airport the busiest airport in the world.
