**Beginner IV Therapy for Nursing Professionals (8 hours)**
Current WI nursing professionals (RN/LPN) study concepts for IV beginners on fluid/electrolyte balance/osmosis, components of IV solutions, IV site selection, initiating and maintenance of peripheral IVs, best practices in IV therapy, and prevention/resolution of IV complications. Learn how to use agency IV policies and procedures. Practice and demonstrate newly acquired affective, cognitive and psychomotor competence after successful completion of written exam.
**IV Therapy Refresher for Nursing Professionals (4 hours)**
Current WI nursing professionals (RN/LPN) review concepts for IV recertification on aseptic technique, initiating and maintenance of peripheral IVs, and prevention/resolution of IV complications. Learn updates on current best practices in IV therapy. Practice and demonstrate affective, cognitive and psychomotor competence after successful completion of written assessment and demonstration.
