Honored as Wisconsin’s #1 Service Business of the Year, and appearing on Time Magazine representing the Retail facility of the Year, Steve Tyink is Vice President of Business Innovation for Miron Construction Co. Inc., one of the Midwest’s largest general contractors. While with Miron, he has assisted in the creation of thought leading, innovative customer & patient experiences within many industries including financial, health care, manufacturing, commercial office, education, and entertainment. He is most widely known for his work with Experience-Based Design methodologies.

Prior to his work in the construction field, Steve was the founder of ‘Attach’, a nationally recognized industrial design firm. There he pioneered the concept of experienced-based design solutions for some of America’s leading companies. For eight years, he served as Vice President of Saturn Operations & Leadership Development for Bergstrom Corporation. From 2004-2006, the seven Saturn retail facilities Steve lead were ranked first among the 443 Saturn facilities in the U.S. These facilities were named Saturn’s Dealer of the Year capturing over 31% market share while the national average was currently 5.6%. In addition to this incredible market share, Steve and his teams won over 20 National Saturn Summit Awards, a feat never accomplished in the history of General Motors Corporation.

For 10 years, Steve also served as Vice President of Human Resources & Guest Experience for Bergstrom Hotels. There he conceptualized and created the overall strategy of the ‘Guest Forever’ culture. This established industry-leading service experiences recognized in Dr. Len Berry’s award winning book, “Discovering the Soul of Service.”

Steve currently serves as the President of the Fox Valley Technical College Foundation, Board Member and Market Chair for the Fox Cities YMCA, Board Member and Experience Chair for the Performing Arts Center. He is married to an awesome woman Peri, has two great kids and lives in beautiful Appleton, Wisconsin.
