Students Bring Car to Life for Community

Students in Fox Valley Technical College’s Vehicle Refinishing & Repair Technology program refurbished a damaged car donated by Goss Auto Body for a fellow Marketing student, Michael Miller.

Michael, who is pursuing an Associate degree in Marketing at FVTC, uses a wheelchair to help overcome some physical challenges. He is going to utilize the donated vehicle to assist other individuals with his similar condition through Easter Seals Wisconsin. Special hand control devices were installed on the steering column to help Michael drive. All materials, parts, and accessories for this project were donated.

During the past two years, all graduates of FVTC’s Vehicle Refinishing & Repair Technology program landed jobs in the industry, according to the college’s annual Graduate Employment Research Report.
