For individuals seeking basic information about substance abuse counseling or needing to meet the Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing Board's (DRL) educational requirement for the SAC-IT credential.
- Candidates MUST possess a bachelor's or master's degree in a human services discipline.
- Candidates MUST attend an advising session with the AODA department chair prior to applying.
- Students obtain an acceptable foundation of skills and knowledge to begin working under supervision with substance abusing clients, per DRL regulations.
