Applied Engineering certificates provide students an understanding of the tools, machines, language and rules and regulations as they apply in the industry. Special emphasis is on the area related to an AAS degree. This certificate provides an understanding of the issues facing production engineering as an industrial technician with analytical methods used to evaluate, problem solve and improve processes. Students will gain an understanding of how different organizations work and function.

For people who want to broaden their skills or learn practical new ones in the area of production engineering:

  • Classes are in a flexible format with an open schedule
  • Credits transfer to the Applied Engineering Technology program or can be used as electives to any FVTC associate degree
