The Agriculture business sector has become more technical than ever. Specialists ranging from agronomy to livestock need to understand the use of this technology as a management tool for a successful business in agriculture. This embedded diploma will fill the need for entry level management and coordination positions in the sector that have mobility to progress through the evolution of the industry to become managers of agri-businesses in the future with some additional education and training.


Program Description

The Agribusiness Management Technician program is a one-year embedded Technical Diploma that provides students with the needed knowledge and skills for a future in Agriculture Production management.

All courses are taught at the Associate Degree level which allows for an easy transfer into the Agribusiness Science & Technology Associate Degree of Applied Science and possible transfer to a Bachelor's degree. Courses are hands-on with focus in the agronomy and dairy production management and include training on: agribusiness management principles, agribusiness sales, agribusiness commodity and marketing, global economics, crop production, animal fundamentals and nutrient management principles.
