Online Registration Instructions 

Follow these simple, step-by-step instructions while working at your computer.

Get your ID and Password.

If you have taken classes at FVTC before:

  • From, click MyFVTC
  • Click "Forgot your ID or password?" and complete the security code
  • Enter either your Social Security Number or Student ID and your Date of Birth. Then click Next.
  • Enter a password and reminder question. Click Next.

If you have NEVER taken classes at FVTC before:

  • From, click MyFVTC
  • Click Become a Student
  • Click Create Student Record
  • The screens will lead you through the process of creating a record, enabling you to take a class

Register for Classes:

  • From, click MyFVTC (on the left side of the screen)
  • Enter your Student ID and Password
  • Click Sign In
  • Click Add/Drop Classes from the Student Menu on the left
  • Click the correct Term of the class(es) you wish to enroll in.
  • Scroll down to the lower left and click Add Classes
  • Enter the Class Number(s)
  • Click Submit
  • If the Status is "Success," you are enrolled. (If there was an error, the link Errors Found will appear; click this link for more details.)
  • Be sure to finish enrolling
  • Click View My Schedule at the bottom of the page
  • Click Print Study List. Click the Print button to print this list. (It can be used at the book store.)

To Pay Fees Online by Credit Card:

  • Click Make a Payment from the portal home page or from the Student Menu on the left
  • Follow the steps for a Current Student
