Bluemound Drive (County AA) will be reconstructed between Wisconsin Avenue and Northland Avenue beginning April 15, 2013.
The project will include:
- Widening Bluemound Drive to four lanes with curb and gutter improvements
- Roundabouts will be installed at the intersections of Glen Park Drive and Tri Park Way (Fox Valley Technical College Entrances)
- Adding a multi-use trail on the west side of the roadway
- Estimated Project Start Date April 15
- Estimated completion first week of November, 2013

Please note that the Appleton Campus site map shows the closure of Entrances 1 and 2 on the main campus effective April 17 due to construction beginning on the Student Success Center.
Construction stages:Stage One:Approximate timeframe mid-April to mid-May
Work will generally occur between Tri Park Way and Glen Park Drive intersections. Access to Glen Park Drive will be from the north only, while access to Tri Park Way will be from the south only. Access to Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) will be possible from either direction.Stage Two: Approximate timeframe mid-May to mid-June
Will begin after May 20, and will focus construction efforts on the Tri Park Way roundabout. There will be no access to the Bluemound Drive and Tri Park Way intersection during this time. Access to FVTC will only be possible from the north. Access to Tri Park Way will only be possible from Brewster Street from the south.Stage Three: Approximate timeframe mid-June to mid-August
Will begin in late June and will focus on the Glen Park Drive roundabout and the roadway to Northland Avenue. Stage 3 will be completed around August 20. Access to Tri Park Way and FVTC will only be possible from the south. There will be no through access to Glen Park Drive intersection, although access to local businesses will be maintained.Stage Four: Approximate timeframe mid-August to mid-November
Will shift construction efforts to the south half of the project. Access will be maintained between Wisconsin Avenue and Brewster Street at all times by reconstructing half of the roadway at a time. Access to Glen Park, Tri Park, and FVTC will be from the north. Brewster Street will remain accessible from the south.
