Fire Watch and Fire Watch Refresher

The FVTC Neenah Fire Training Center is able to provide hands-on training for both incipient teams and structural brigades. Our facility includes a multi-story burn building, a ladder training structure, a confined space simulator and several natural gas training props, including a fork truck, hose line and extinguisher training. Examples of training include:

Fire Watch Initial & Refresher

Hot work activities, hot work permits and fire watch are controlled by OSHA regulations, NFPA standards, ANSI standards, insurance company requirements and facility specific policies. Fire watch is an activity required for most hot work which is not performed in a pre-identified area, such as a weld shop. This training seminar includes hands-on training with fire and extinguishers and hand lines.
