Fox Valley Technical College is the lead
training and technical assistance provider for the IASA program. As
grantees develop their alcohol and substance abuse reduction programs,
they can request assistance in the following areas:
- Strategic Planning
- Community development and assessment strategies
- Capacity and team building
- Training Topics
- Tribal law enforcement
- Tribal probation
- Gang awareness
- Drug and alcohol identification and recognition
- Drug trends
- Program Development
- Diversion and prevention programs
- Treatment and services for offenders and families
- Tribal court development, including code development and staff training
- Resource development and grant writing strategies to promote sustainability
Support
can be provided through onsite technical assistance and peer-to-peer
support as well as onsite support with training and community outreach
events. There is typically little or no cost to the community for
training and technical assistance services provided through IASA
program training/technical assistance funding. To request assistance complete the
