This program provides you with core background knowledge within the manufacturing safety area. Growing demand has created a need for specialty areas that focus on the rapid changes in technology safety and work processes. You may choose the complete Safety Engineering Technologies instructional program for an Associate Degree or choose a specific track certificate as the focus of your specialty area.

Emergency Preparedness Specialist Certificate


This certificate provides an understanding of the issues facing industrial disaster preparedness to the analytical methods used to evaluate risk, as well as the roles and responsibilities of Business and Industry. Students will gain understanding of how all of the different organizations work and operate in an emergency.

This certificate provides a foundation for Environmental Health & Safety in the approaches, hardware and software systems, legal and regulatory requirements, and management of buildings and complexes across a very broad range of industries, healthcare, municipal and other facilities and resources.

Safety Engineering Technology Associate Degree


The Safety Engineering Technology program will provide you with a background in the areas of Environmental Safety and Health and expand your knowledge of the relationship that engineering has to safety in the manufacturing and service industries. Safety and Environmental regulations continue to grow along with a need for employees who have an understanding of these rules. As a graduate, you will be well suited to work as a Safety or Environmental Technician, or a Safety Officer or Manager in Safety or Environmental Departments in Business & Industry.
