Outstanding Alumni Award

Each year, this distinguished honor is presented to a deserving alumnus who has completed a Fox Valley Technical College associate degree, technical diploma or apprentice program. Nominees must have achieved a high level within their chosen field of endeavor, which is exemplified by having attained increasingly responsible positions in their company, organization or community.

Outstanding Alumni Award Recipient

Bryce Remy has been selected as the recipient of the Fox Valley Technical College 2025 Outstanding Alumni Award. Bryce is a 2018 graduate of the Computer Support Specialist program and is currently the IT Network Administrator and Help Desk Manager at Van Horn Automotive in Plymouth, Wisconsin.

After earning his associate degree from FVTC Bryce went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in IT from Colorado State University-Global in 2021 and a Master of Business Administration from University of Southern Indiana in 2023. He is currently working toward a Doctor of Business Administration with an emphasis on Leadership Excellence at Edgewood College.

In addition to holding an elected position as alder of District 3 for the City of Horicon, Bryce is also on the boards of the United Way of Dodge County and the Horicon Historical Society. He also serves on the Horicon Phoenix Program which includes raising funds for and creating the Friends of Horicon Parks to support local playground replacements which improves safety and function. He also mentors high school students through a youth apprenticeship program.

Bryce’s pursuit of knowledge, coupled with an impressive career and a deep commitment to his community, has earned him the title of 2025 Outstanding Alumni at Fox Valley Technical College.

“FVTC taught me many technical skills, but it also gave me a confidence boost and helped me create a positive work-life balance,” Bryce says. “I do a lot for the community and for my employer. To be recognized this way is such a huge honor.”
