Accessing E-Books & Materials

Cengage Unlimited is an online subscription allowing access to all the digital learning platforms, e-books, online homework and study tools Cengage has to offer.  This one subscription can be used for multiple classes during the subscription period.

Students will have access to the digital materials through their Blackboard account once the course is open. The cost of the materials for the course are added to the class fee, so they do not need to be purchased separately. There is often an OPTIONAL print upgrade students may purchase from the Online Bookstore website.

Open Educational Resources (OER) are learning materials that are free to use, share, and often even customize. They’re created by educators, institutions, or organizations who want to make learning more accessible to everyone. OER materials are accessed through students’ Blackboard account when the course section opens.

eTextbooks are purchased through eCampus and accessed through your Digital Bookshelf. They are digital versions of print textbooks, enhanced with features such as high-speed search and electronic note-taking. Some are downloadable, some are viewed /read through your browser.
