Come check out Fox Valley Technical College. Your visit will include a general college overview, a general tour of our student services, followed by learning what your next steps would be.

Discovery Days

Want to visit us in person? Choose from a full schedule of Discovery Days to experience campus life at FVTC. Your visit will include a general college overview, an informative tour of your program area of interest, followed by a panel of current Fox Valley Tech students who will answer questions about campus life. Open to prospective students of all ages and their families.

Aviation Fly-In & Open House

Either fly in or drive in for breakfast and explore the aviation training hangar and labs, visit with faculty and try out our full-motion Redbird flight simulators. If you're considering a career in aviation, this event is for you!

No registration required; just stop by between 8 and noon.

Events For High School Groups

Campus Visit Days

Campus Visit Days are designed specifically for high school groups. These career exploration visits highlight a variety of career training options, as well as a general college overview, a basic overview of a career cluster area, and student panel discussion. Pre-registration is required through your high school counselor or teacher. Due to the popularity of this program, we are only able to accommodate high school students. Middle schools are encouraged to contact the college to set up in-class presentations.

Instructions for Faculty
To register a group of students from your high school:  

Call 920-735-4740 to make reservations. Please remember that Campus Visit Days fill quickly so be sure to contact us early! 

Complete the registration form below. Print and copy one form for each student to complete. Submit completed registration forms at least two weeks prior to the date of your visit. Completed registration forms can be returned to:

Hands-On, High Tech Event | High School Students

For high school groups who want to experience a different type of learning environment. This event focuses on hands-on career training in wood manufacturing and residential building construction. This event is for high school students (grades 9-12) only.

FOR GRADES 6-8

REGISTRATION MUST BE COMPLETED BY MIDDLE SCHOOL FACULTY. 

Registration begins August 29.

Programs highlighted: Residential Building Construction, Wood Manufacturing Technology

You're invited to tour our high-tech woodworking and construction labs and experience a different kind of learning environment. 

Students will work hands-on with machinery, learn about career training and future employment opportunities. 

Fox Valley Technical College is the only technical college in Northeast Wisconsin offering these programs. 

Students: Contact your counselor or teacher if you'd like to attend. 

Career Exploration for Middle Schools

Career exploration for middle school students (6-8 grades). Students can visit our campus and explore various career areas. 

Pre-registration is required for your group. Space is limited and will be on a first-come, first served basis. Parents are encouraged to join their child at this event. One chaperone is required for every 10 students. 

Format for this experience: The day begins with a short welcome and introductions. Attendees will break into groups that will rotate through three different career areas, followed by a final wrap up.
