JUNE 2, 2020

Summer classes are underway, and fall is being planned. Staff is available via phone or email while buildings remain closed to the public.

Our top priority is the health and safety of our students, customers and staff. At the same time, we are dedicated to resuming hands-on learning as much as possible. Rest assured that we will follow proper physical distancing and personal protective wear practices, along with proactive disinfectant procedures. We will also continue to offer a robust lineup of online classes and innovative instructional formats for our students.

We are offering limited building access during the summer for current students for hands-on lab training. New students can contact our Admissions staff for information on specific classes. Current students are being kept up to date of changes via student email. Our Student Services team is available to assist you with any questions. Please email Admissions or call 920-735-4740.

College classes continue for the spring semester and more offerings available for summer and fall

Fox Valley Tech is open for business, just doing it differently with our faculty and staff working from home. Classes have resumed and students are completing coursework via alternative delivery methods for the remainder of the spring semester. Various completion options were offered to students to support the best outcomes possible for learning and grading.

New Students

We are here to support graduating high school seniors and adults to be successful and we know this is a difficult time for everyone. New Programs & Classes

Many new offerings will be available this summer and fall. Check out our online and coming soon programs. And if you’re looking to take an online class or two, we can help with our Take a Class options. This is also a great time for students who may have been dislocated from other schools to take a class through FVTC and complete some general education classes needed in preparation for going back to school in fall. We’re here for you, so let us know how we can help.

Spring semester will continue in online format through end of May, with staff working remotely

The health and safety of our students and staff is of the greatest importance. With facilities still closed, most classes resumed on Monday, March 30.

Knowing that changing class formats mid-stream is challenging for all, with the agreement of our Board of Trustees, we have made the difficult decision to extend the closure of our facilities and will continue with online instruction through May 31.

Our spring 2020 semester will continue in an online delivery format and facilities will stay closed for the remainder of this semester. Innovative thinking and responsiveness by faculty and staff has allowed us to deliver nearly 75% of our offerings in this revised fashion, which means a tremendous opportunity for students to continue learning safely.  If a class cannot be completed in this manner, students will be notified and course fees will be refunded.

We are here for our students and pledge to work with everyone on completion options for their specific coursework.

MARCH 27, 2020

Most classes resume online Mon., March 30. Students should check their FVTC email frequently for details. Our campus buildings remain closed and our faculty and staff are working remotely. Governor Evers’ executive order prohibits gatherings of over 10 people, thus we will be abiding by the order for the duration of this public health emergency.

Students are on spring break this week and we’ve previously communicated that we are extending spring break an additional week to allow our faculty time to prepare for alternative delivery of coursework online.

Today we’ve published some frequently asked questions and answers here: COVID-19 FAQ. The answers to these questions may change as the situation changes, so please check back often.

MARCH 17, 2020

We will be closing all FVTC facilities effective at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2020. Our buildings will remain closed for the duration of this public health emergency. The Parent Child Center will also remain closed during this period.

Although we don’t have answers to every question regarding current classes and training, we are doing everything possible with our varied offerings to continue our services as much as possible. Our faculty and staff are continuing to work from their homes to accomplish this. We will communicate more information in the coming days and weeks.
