OTA Students Visit State Capitol

| By: Britten, Casey

Students from the Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program spent October 12 at "OT Day at the Capitol" in Madison.

The trip allowed students to advocate for their profession, services and consumers as part of an awareness-raising experience. More than 300 therapists and students from around the state attended the gathering to meet with legislators on a variety of issues impacting the industry.

FVTC’s faculty and students represented one of the largest groups at the function.
