2021 Farm Tour Goes Virtual

| By: Daley-Hinkens, Carmelyn M

After being sidelined last year by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fox Valley Technical College Farm Tour is back in 2021.

The virtual event will give participants an inside look at two farm and grain operations in Valders and Wrightstown, Wisconsin.

CP Feeds is a joint venture of Collins Agri-Services and Premier Feeds. Production started at its Valders feed manufacturing facility in 2001. The operation expanded in Wrightstown by building a new feed mill and started feed production there in 2018.

Tinedale Farms, also in Wrightstown, was established in 1863 when the Theunis family started by milking seven cows. Now called Tinedale Farms, LLC, the operation remains in the family and milks 2,500 cows. Total Grain Services, a separate LLC, was formed in 2000. It buys and sells corn, soybeans and wheat. It also sells market cash contracts throughout the year.

The public is welcome to join the virtual tour. Simply go to the virtual farm tour page and click on the link that will go live at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 19.
