Ag Students Shine at National PAS Conference

Fox Valley Technical College was well represented at the 2022 National Professional Agricultural Student (PAS) Conference.

The event took place from March 16-19, 2022 in Minneapolis. The PAS National Conference is a gathering of nearly 600 agricultural students, their collegiate advisors and industry representatives. Students compete against many colleges from across the United States.

Individual Events:

     2nd Place: Career Progress, Ruminant Animal Systems - Alyssa Strassburg

     2nd Place: Employment Interview, Dairy Production - Lily Kussman

     3rd Place: Employment Interview, Feeds & Animal Health - Ariana Hendricks

     3rd Place: Impromptu Speaking - Ashley Johnson

Team Events:

     1st Place: Crops Specialist - Sa Lee, Hannah Schneider, Carter Hooyman

     1st Place: Equine Specialist - Ariana Hendricks, Ashley Johnson

     2nd Place: Crops Specialist - Grady Wendorf, Peter Gorman, Lorrissa Albert

The National Professional Agricultural Student Organization is a student-led organization that allows students to build and sharpen their skills so that they are ready for the workplace.
