COVID-19 Update, January 2022
No major changes expected to classes or services
COVID-19 Update, Jan. 6, 2022
Due to public health conditions evolving with the Omicron variant, we are providing an update prior to the start of the spring semester. For all information related to FVTC COVID-19 updates, visit www.fvtc.edu/Forward.
College facilities are currently open. Winterim classes began on Monday, Jan. 3, and the spring term starts Tuesday, Jan. 18. As of January 6, there are no major changes planned to existing course schedules. Faculty will communicate via email and Blackboard about classes and any possible adjustments due to health conditions if/when changes are made.
Currently, we are not making any changes to our student service operations. Services will continue to be provided in person or remotely. Information about support services can be found at www.fvtc.edu/SupportServices. Our support teams are available on the Appleton Campus Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., and other times by appointment. Support services are also available at our Oshkosh Riverside campus, as well as our regional and training centers. Check support hours by location >>
Face coverings are required in all Fox Valley Technical College facilities regardless of vaccination status. Please continue to handwash frequently. Wearing a face covering and handwashing are important ways to mitigate the spread of the virus. Do not come to campus facilities if you are sick. If you cannot attend class, please talk to your instructor to make arrangements for assignments.
As a reminder, the Campus Care Clinic offers rapid COVID tests to asymptomatic students. To schedule an appointment, call 920-735-5699 or book online.
We will continue to communicate throughout the semester about any changes to student service operations and classes due to the evolving health pandemic. For more information related to FVTC COVID-19 updates, visit www.fvtc.edu/Forward.
