Fox Valley Technical College is excited to welcome future students on campus again this October for our in-person Open House.
The event will be held on Tuesday, October 5 from 3-6 p.m. at all FVTC locations. Visitors can get their questions answered and apply for admission free of charge ($30 value). They will be able to tour their program area of choice as well as talk with staff about support services such as admissions and financial aid. We will be hosting an informational session about How to Pay for College at 3:30, 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. In addition, the Venture Center will be hosting a free Explore Starting a Business workshop from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
The pandemic necessitated the college to hold the 2020 Open House in a virtual format. “Our staff really came together to organize last year’s virtual event,” says Barb Dreger, director of marketing for FVTC. “But there’s just no substitute for actually getting to see the campus and talk to people face-to-face, so we are thrilled to be back in-person.”
To ensure physical distancing and smaller crowd sizes, pre-registration is required. In addition, event attendance is limited to high school seniors and older. Attendees can register at www.fvtc.edu/OpenHouse.
All visitors, students and staff must wear a face covering indoors on campus, and enhanced cleaning and disinfecting measures are in place.
Visitors who are not yet high school seniors are invited to attend our Teen Preview Day on Thursday, November 11. This event will be held at the Appleton campus from 3-6 p.m. and will help high school students determine their next steps after high school. Pre-registration is required at www.fvtc.edu/TeenPreview.
