Exemplary Facility Design Makes National Publication

Fox Valley Technical College’s state-of-the-art, three-story Health Simulation and Technology Center (HSTC) has caught the eye of Healthcare Design, a national publication that serves an audience of architects, interior designers, hospital administrators, facility managers, engineers, and key members of the construction community as the premier source of insight, information, and inspiration for planning, designing, and constructing new or renovated healthcare facilities.

The HSTC opened last August as the result of FVTC’s successful public referendum in 2012, which passed by a 2-1 margin. The facility is designed to meet the training needs of emergency medical services and various health care disciplines through the use of high-tech human patient simulators in a virtual hospital and clinical setting.
