The Innovation Accelerator for Veterans Program is made possible through a generous grant from the Wisconsin Department of Veteran’s Affairs, in partnership with the Fox Valley Technical College Venture Center and the FVTC Foundation. Congratulations on taking the first step to business ownership! Small business owners are the economic backbone in their communities and we are here to support you every step of the way.

The two-phase, Innovation Accelerator for Veterans Program is designed to guide Veterans from idea to business launch - with expert-led training, networking, and funding opportunities.

Phase 1, the E-seed™ Entrepreneurship Training Series, is a 10-week program that includes 24 classroom hours along with independent research, networking, and business plan development. Participants connect with a strong network of entrepreneurs, mentors, and small business leaders; evaluate the feasibility of their business idea; analyze industry trends, competition, market potential, and financial considerations; develop a lean business plan; and explore financing options such as SBA loans, traditional lending, investors, and micro-credit programs.

Phase 2 provides focused training in marketing and finance. The three-week Branding & Social Media Marketing segment helps participants create a one-year marketing calendar, build an effective email list, and learn best practices for websites, e-commerce, and online promotion. The three-week Financial Management for Entrepreneurs segment teaches essential financial tools and practices, explores funding strategies for startup and growth, and guides participants in assessing financial performance to support informed business decisions.
