Junior Achievement Students Show Off Skills

More than 100 middle school students from Junior Achievement of Wisconsin’s Winnebago Region District canvassed Fox Valley Technical College as collegians for a day during the annual Technical Careers Challenge on February 10.

The event connected students to industry professionals in competitions that involved manufacturing a product or providing a service. The events included competitions in automotive, aviation, construction, crime scene investigations, culinary arts, early childhood education, healthcare, robotics, web design, and welding. WBAY co-anchor Bill Jartz helped culminate the day’s activities by leading an awards ceremony.

Junior Achievement is a nationwide, non-profit organization established to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.
