Liberty Mutual donates four vehicles for specialized training.

Customers of Liberty Mutual can now look to Fox Valley Technical College’s state-of-the-art J. J. Keller Transportation Center for customized driver training.

The international insurance firm donated two Freightliner quad-cab tractor vehicles, a box van, and a Ford Crown Victoria automobile to the FVTC Foundation to add to the transportation center’s repertoire of skid pad and related driver training experiences. The vehicles will also be used to train Liberty’s policy holders dealing with customers in the Midwest. FVTC instructors will work with the Liberty trainees on various skid pad exercises.

In addition to the vehicles, Liberty Mutual donated a Bendix air-brake demonstration board, brake demonstration parts, and traffic cones. The new partnership will commence in summer of 2019 with multiple-day workshops that include classroom training and skid pad immersions.

FVTC’s J. J. Keller Transportation Center houses the latest training innovations for preparing today’s skilled professionals in the fields of truck driving, diesel technician technology, automotive technology, and collision repair.
