A new guaranteed transfer agreement with Lakeland University went into play before a large gathering in our Student Success Center.

FVTC and Lakeland University (formerly known as Lakeland College) celebrated a 40-year partnership with another new credit transfer agreement. More than 20 FVTC programs are part of FVTC to LU and align with nine Lakeland majors. FVTC graduates who meet the transfer requirements are guaranteed direct admission to Lakeland to pursue a bachelor’s degree in related career areas ranging from business and information technology to health and hospitality programs.

The latest collaboration provides a number of benefits to students, including:

  • Connecting FVTC students to Lakeland academic advisors to help guide them through their coursework.
  • The opportunity for students to work in their field while continuing an education at Lakeland.
  • Scholarship opportunities for FVTC graduates.
  • Individualized academic plans and career development services to help students launch and advance their careers.
